Come out an give your child a chance to experience golf, these ½ hour free clinics are to encourage your youngster to learn golf and start their golf education the right way. . .

*Cut down clubs is one of the worst things you can do for your junior's development. Golf clubs that are cut down become too heavy for the junior and impede their early development. Do you want your child swinging a sledge hammer?! We don't!

2012 Junior Beginner Group Golf Lessons


The weekly golf programs for boys and girls are structured to promote the fundamentals of the golf swing and short game techniques. The understanding of the rules of golf and etiquette will be promoted and essential for your children’s development in golf. Youth classes run twice a week and once a week (older children) for two consecutive weeks in age appropriate groups.


Cost: $59.00 (Class Size: 6-10 Participants)

2012 Junior Golf Camp


3 Days of FUN! ~ Unlimited range balls ~ Lunch included ~ golfing gift bag ~ 1 round of free golf and much, much more. . .

Come out and join the fun with your golfing friends! The junior camp is for all children seeking to improver their knowledge & skills in the game of golf. Instruction is divided into three categories from the full swing, short game techniques and golf course strategies. Emphasis on golf rules & etiquette will be included. Registration ends 1 week before the session start dates for all programs.

Cost: $129 (Class Size: 6-10 Participants)

Equipment Requirements: Please bring an age appropriate junior set of clubs (putter, 9, 7 &5 iron, fairway wood & driver). The golf instructor can help with golf club fitting. Junior sets are available at the Fountain Hills Golf Shop.

Margie Muzik

Margie Muzik has 30 years of golf experience; she was formerly a touring playing professional on many of the women’s elite golf tours internationally & throughout the United States. Her extensive playing career lead to numerous top professional finishes and championship awards. Margie is a 18 year veteran LPGA Teaching Professional and a member of the PGA of America.

 

A native of Naperville, IL and a graduate from the University of Kentucky as a scholarship athlete receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication. Ms. Muzik is also an accomplished martial artist in Hapkido (3rd Dan). Margie’s teaching style is unique, because she incorporates the strengths of different fields including professional competitive golf, martial arts, meditation and fitness into her golf instruction. This will be Margie’s fourth season at the Fountain Hills Golf Club.
